Family Therapy

My approach to family therapy is rooted in the family systems theory, where family is seen as a system that is more than just a sum of individual family members.  Systems have their ways of maintaining stability and resisting change, yet when a change happens and dysfunctional patterns are disrupted, it can be a powerful and healing force both for this family and future generations.

Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes once or twice per week. Specific structure of a family treatment will be developed individually for each family depending on the presenting issues and a family constellation.
