How I Work

I value transparency and collaboration with my patients in setting goals and presenting a rationale for my approach in each individual case. I strive to be thoughtful and deliberate in my interventions while being open about the “roadmap of treatment” with my patients.

People come to therapy with various symptoms and problems of living. In addition to reducing these symptoms and alleviating suffering, it is my goal to understand and address the underlying causes of these symptoms — whether it is trauma, unresolved inner conflicts, suppressed or unarticulated feelings, wishes and longings, or a unique neurobiology (i.e. neurodivergence) that inform patients’ experiences and behaviors.

In order to achieve these goals, I use psychodynamic-relational, systemic, attachment, and neuro-affirming approaches to help my patients have a better understanding of themselves, unlock their strengths, overcome “stuckness” and authentically connect with their loved ones.
