ADHD and Autism Adult Assessment

I provide neurodiversity-affirming assessment to identify your neurotype, focusing on ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD.

Autism assessment consists of a structured clinical interview developed specifically for adults whose neurodivergence is subtle, highly compensated, or masked. You will also complete a series of self-report and self-reflection questionnaires and, in some cases, selected standardized measures commonly used in neuropsychological evaluations.

During the interview, we will explore your developmental history, social communication, relationship patterns, sensory processing, cognitive style, bottom-up information processing, executive functioning, routines, focused interests, and the lived experience of navigating daily life.

The assessment is designed to identify autism as it is experienced internally, including masking and compensatory strategies, analytical social processing, social exhaustion and burnout, sensory regulation needs, and differences in meaning-making that are often overlooked by traditional standardized testing approaches.

ADHD assessment follows a similar process and consists of a structured clinical interview designed to evaluate adult presentations of ADHD, including differences in executive functioning, emotion regulation, attention regulation, stimulation-seeking, and related cognitive and behavioral patterns. You will also complete ADHD-specific questionnaires and a computerized test that assesses attention, impulsivity, and sustained concentration in real time. When clinically indicated, selected neuropsychological measures of executive functioning may also be administered.

Assessment fees generally range from $1,200 to $2,000, depending on the complexity of the evaluation and the extent of testing required. Each assessment includes individualized feedback, psychoeducation, and recommendations for follow-up care and accommodations tailored to your particular neurotype and needs.
